Workshops
On-campus workshops are available for students, faculty and staff regarding issues of social justice, equity, diversity, and conflict resolution. The coordinator is also available to present or facilitate experiential activities to student groups and classes.
Title IX Resources
Pasadena City College is committed to providing an inclusive and supportive learning and working environment for all LGBTQIA+ members of our community, and has a variety of supports available. Further, the U.S. Department of Education has affirmed that Title IX’s protections against sex discrimination includes protections for individuals against discrimination based on their gender identity or sexual orientation. Both the U.S. Department of Justice and the Department of Education have stated that transgender students must be treated in accordance with the student’s gender identity for all purposes. In addition to Title IX, Title VII, as well as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission provide protections to LGBTQIA+ students and employees. For more information, visit the Title IX website.
